Today I wanted to share a few fitness things I’ve been loving recently. I’ve really been enjoying working out lately and have been in awe of the amazing things my body can do! One of the best feelings is completing a workout you didn’t think you could get through! Amen? Amen!
And so. A few fitness things I’m loving!
Petal Pants. I know I’ve talked about them before, but seriously. They are the CUTEST and most comfortable yoga pants I’ve worn. I wear them as my pajamas, for lounging around the house, and of course to work out in. Plus, ruffles. No explanation needed there.
My pink yoga mat. Okay, so this was the yoga mat that we got my mom a few years ago for Christmas. And now I have it and use it all the time. I love that it’s pink and it works great, yes, but the best part is that whenever I’m practicing my yoga I’m reminded of my mama. Yoga is such a freeing experience for me, and when I’m on that mat meditating on life and being centered and counting my blessings, it makes me smile, because “count your blessings” is something my mom always told me to do, and hey, Mom, if you’re reading this, I’m doing just that. As often as I can. :)
New Nikes. I got these from Kohl’s and am pretty much obsessed. They combine two of my very favorite colors, grey and mint blue, and they’re so lightweight and comfortable! Pretty much perfection in my book.
Almonds. I have been an almond FIEND lately. They are my go-to healthy snacks right now (see more of my favorite healthy snacks here!). I recently tried two new flavors, Honey Roasted Vanilla and Honey Roasted Chipotle, and here’s the deal: I really didn’t care for them at first, but after about the third almond or so, they become tasty. Is that weird? Yes. But I don’t curr, I am now addicted- as you can tell by the near empty container! Ha! Of course, I will still always prefer my plain old regular almonds, there’s just nothing better in my opinion. But these are fun if you feel like mixing it up!
What are some of your current favorite fitness-y things?
