Hey Katie Did What readers! It’s Zack aka “Hubby” with a special Valentine’s Day post for Katie.
She’s probably going to kill me for this, but since I have access to her blog from the editing I did last week, I figured I’d just go for it! Comments are appreciated, but only if you’re gonna help me get off the V-Day hook! :D
If you’ve been following my beautiful wife’s blog recently, you know that we’re going through some very difficult times with her mom’s health right now. Neither of us is especially in the Valentine’s Day spirit, and wouldn’t have the time to do anything extravagant for each other even if we were in the mood. So this is what I came up with: a blog takeover where I tell you all how wonderful Katie is. :)
Where do I even start?
Let’s start mushy…
Since the day she walked into my life, I have been happier with every day that passes. From the moment I saw her, I was floored. I mean come on, you all see the pictures… she’s gorgeous! I’m still thankful that a doofus like me was able to keep it together long enough to woo her!
There is not a day that goes by where I don’t smile because of her. Or where she doesn’t make me laugh. She makes it easy to get out of bed in the morning because I know it’s going to be another wonderful day being her husband.
She makes life more fun.
She makes food taste better.
She makes the sun shine brighter.
She is funny, kind, warm, loyal, brave, positive, supportive and loving, among many others.
What else? Let’s get a little less mushy…
When she gets embarrassed, it’s pretty much the cutest thing in the entire world.
Her outfits are always adorable. She looks like a model. Every single day. Without trying.
Her hair always looks amazing, even though she’ll tell me (and you) otherwise.
Her nails are so cute. They always are. For example, right now she has them painted a sparkly pink, but the ring fingernails are a shiny gold. :)
Ok back to mushy mushy…
She is my best friend and I love every moment spent with her.
Her smile makes my heart smile. It’s the best thing I could ever look at.
Happy Valentine’s Day sweetheart. I can’t wait for dozens and dozens more of them with you! (please don’t kill me for this!)

Oh my goodness Katie, he is DEF a keeper!!! I heart this post so much, it is seriously the sweetest thing ever!! It’s such a LOVELY thing to see how in love other couples can be and it just makes me smile :) I hope you and your hubbs have/had a great day feeling more in love with each other! You deserve it! I love how he included your ring fingers being painted a different color ;) Prayers to you and your family, especially your mom. Nice to see your pretty face again & visit your blog since I’ve been pretty much MIA for the last month!
