How we roll through Target. I swear, Sophie is having a good time. ;)
The past month I have been in such a slump- a lot of changes have been happening in my life, and I got hit with some pretty tough things. I’m not quite ready to share them here yet, BUT. I do want to share what’s been on my heart lately: God is with us, always. And with Him, and through Him, all things are possible. I need not be afraid of the unknown! I’m finally feeling some relief and resting in this truth. And this week has been nothing but positivity and feelings of hope and joy!! So, here’s to THAT feeling. And it staying with us all in this hectic and crazy season!
Okay, favorites time…
one. My latest print order came today (I print our photos from mpix and absolutely love them! Such great quality and they really take the time to make sure your photos arrive in perfect condition- not sponsored at all, I just really love their quality, after printing from various drugstores and making the switch- it is a HUGE difference!) and I’m finally filling up some empty picture frames! It’s so easy in this digital age to forget to have physical copies of pictures, but there is just something about flipping through a photo album or hanging a picture up on a wall! My little gallery wall is something that makes me smile every time I look at it. These are MY people. Gosh I’m lucky.
two. The weather! It’s been in the 60s this week, and sunny and I AM LOVING IT. Literally, the perfect fall weather! Finally! It can also be quite deceiving because it looks muuuuch warmer than it is. ;) But yay for wearing thick leggings and boots and warm coats!
three. Cozy mornings with my babies. It doesn’t get any better. And the coziest new nightie from belabumbum (use code katiedidwhat for 10% off + free shipping!). I could stay here forever! This proves to be a problem most mornings when we need to get our butts in gear and get out the door! But… You know. It’s fine. I don’t mind one bit. That’s what coffee is for- to kick our butts into gear! ;)
four. This month’s Popsugar Must Haves box is SO GOOD. I’m obsessed with the table runner by pehr designs- I have been on the hunt for a good table runner foreverrrr and have never found one I love! Well, I’m in love with this one. Done. Also adore the pretty little Kendra Scott bracelet that came in the box! They so graciously sent me this box, but if you want to try out a box, you can get $5 off your first box with code SHOP5.
five. IT’S BEGINNING TO LOOK A LOT LIKE CHRISTMAS… Yes that’s right! Thank you all for your awesome comments on last week’s Favorites post. I made Zack read each and every one, and you convinced him!!! The decor is slowly trickling in! I’m kind of loving the mix of fall/winter I have going on here. The white pumpkins and Christmas wreaths just kind of go together, don’t you think?
More Christmasy things to come, next week! Including the first of my Holiday Gift Guides, woo! Is there any particular guide you’d like me to create? Let me know!
Okay, have the best weekend ever!!
xo
I’d love to see what gift ideas you have for your babies! I always like to see what other mamas got going on in that department… toy stores are so overwhelming to me!
Girl, don’t you worry!! My baby gift guide is coming sooooon!! :)

Seriously yes! Flipping through photo albums is the best! I’d much rather do that than see them on a computer. There’s just something about it! I’m so excited to buy a house (maybe in like 2 years, lol) and get decorating. There’s only so much you can do in an apartment on a limited income! Thanks so much for sharing!
YES. Photo albums are my favorite. They just tell a story that folders on a computer can’t, not in the same way anyway. :)

I get you with the photos. Finding a good company to print them is hard, and once you do there’s no turning back!
We’re slowing putting up the Christmas decorations but I’m waiting until after Thanksgiving for the tree.
Have a great weekend!
We’re waiting til after Thanksgiving for the tree too! Mainly because, who can keep a tree alive for more than a month?! haha I certainly can’t! ;)

I have the next two weeks off and the only project (aside from Christmas decorating -!!!- that I have on my agenda is to start a photo album…a real, tangible one…for my baby. Pretty excited to use this service. Thanks for the recommendation!
That is the best idea!! Best of luck in creating the photo album- I’m sure your sweet baby will cherish it forever! :)

Ditto on Mpix! I always love your gift guides and am excited to see what you put together this year. Where is your sweater from in that Target picture? Praying that you find peace and hope as you face these tough things.
Thank you for your prayers and sweet words, Ann. They mean so much!! The sweater is from h&m, I found an identical one here: http://bit.ly/2fJfAPV :)

Hey girl, thank you so much for your sweet words and concern!! I’m okay- going through some trials that I’m not ready to talk about here quite yet, but it’s nothing we can’t get through! :) Oh my goodness, I can’t believe your little one is already ONE!!! Happy birthday to your sweet baby girl! I hope you had the best day!
