COZY SOCKS FOR FALL

socks on bed Here’s the thing about socks: I am obsessed with them. Just ask my husband. If I showed you my collection of socks, you would probably be either A.) shocked or B.) envious, depending on your own feelings on socks. It got so bad last winter, I had to really search deep in my soul and use every ounce of my will power to pare down (pair down) my collection. It was just getting really out of hand (foot? Oh, the puns). Anyway. Socks. I love ’em. I also love fall fashion, and when the weather gets just cool enough to bring out my beloved socks and fall clothes, well, all is right with the world then, I feel. Today, I thought it’d be fun to take a pair of socks and style them two different ways. These particular socks aren’t just any socks, either, they are chunky boot socks, the best of the best! They’re like the king of the socks, am I right? I love that boot socks are so versatile, and it’s always exciting when the weather cools enough to break out my collection! Today I’m styling my No nonsense Chunky Cable Knee Boot Socks two different ways, one dressed up and more feminine and one casual, dressed down look. Let me know which you prefer! I’m partial to the dressed down look, but maybe that’s just because I’m all about comfort these days, now that I’m always with my little one. knit socks Aren’t the socks so cute?! I love wearing my summer dresses well into the cooler months by just throwing on a warm knit cardigan and some socks with boots. Effortless, cute and perfect for the summer to fall transition!

no nonsense dressed down Leggings and boot socks will always be a favorite outfit of mine. For ultimate comfort and cuteness, add an oversized sweater on top and make sure to cover that bum with a long layering tank!

    In response to your question…I have NEVER worn boot socks with boots. Oh my god does htat make me so lame? You’ve just inspired me with this post. Maybe it is because all of the “boot socks” I have are from my highschool uniform days, which means early 90s…oh dear now I am even dating myself!

      Aw thank you so much! It’s all natural. I used to dye my hair (box dye, I know, terrible) and so the color was always changing, but I haven’t dyed it for well over a year now. I’m just letting it do it’s thing! ;)

    Boot socks are great to wear with boots (duh), leggings, and my personal favorite is under jeans in the winter for extra warmth. I live in the midwest, so winters can be pretty brutal. I sometimes even wear them to bed with p.j.’s. The possibilities are basically endless!

      Yep, when it’s cold, I must wear ALL OF THE layers. Boot socks are perfect for that! I wear them with pj’s too!

    I’m actually fairly new to boot wearing – I used to hate them…now I can’t live without them! That being said, I don’t own any “boot socks.” I’d love to have some though – see them going with the leggings and tons of sweaters I own.

    Favorite ways….

    1) With my tall camel colored boots, pulled up to just under my knee and with a romantic boho style dress

    2) With my black leggings and pretty much any top EVER!

    3) With my skinny jeans, Ugg boots, folded down to mid calf

      It’s still in the 90s here too, for the most part. We’ve been getting some cooler days interspersed though. Making me excited for full-on fall weather!

      Oooh I wish I could knit- I would so knit some boot socks! My mom taught me, and I have needles, I just need to get more into it! :) It’s a goal of mine!

    I actually bought a very special pair of boot socks on Etsy. They are my favorite!! I wear them with leggings and this way cool dress and boots. :)
