We headed to Los Osos (near SLO) last week to visit with my brother and sister-in-law. It was such a fun road trip and a great trip in general. We spent a day at the beach (in case you missed it, you can see all those pictures here!) and it made my heart SO happy that Sam loved it so much! We ate a lot of good food (a highlight being Giovanni’s Fish Market for fish & chips and clam chowder, in Morrow Bay!), went on family walks, enjoyed the perfect weather and soaked up our little mini vacation as best we could! A vacation with a toddler is definitely not the same as it used to be ;) but as exhausting and sometimes frustrating as it can be (no naps! Refusing to go to bed! Being squirmy and wanting to go-go-go constantly!) we still had a good time and made some fun memories. Gosh, I love this family of mine! Here’s some photos from our trip…
Yep, it was a good one. And now we’re back home and it was 104 yesterday. SO. We’re headed back up!…. ha. I wish. ;)

Glad your fam had a great time! And this heat is ridiculous. We live at the beach and it was 87 here!
Whatttt! 87 at the beach is crazy! Buuuuut, I’ll take that any day over 100+ in the valley. UGH. I think we’ll just move to SD and be neighbors, how does that sound? ;)
