I discovered the best thing at the State Fair (besides cotton candy, duh) and that is wine slushies! I got a mix of blackberry merlot and white sangria and holyyyyy cow it was delicious. According to Zack, there’s like zero percent alcohol in them, but whatever. It was refreshing and yummy, and that’s all I cared about.
We went to the Rivercats baseball game last night (our local AAA team, which feeds into the Oakland A’s) with the in laws! It was so much fun. Oh, baseball games. There’s something about them that just make me feel extra patriotic and extra summery and stuff, you know? We snuck in some treats, which is always a good idea, and had ourselves a fun time. And by “treats” I mean grapes. I am not even kidding. Grapes are my new fave snack. Who am I?!
This weekend will be spent watching movies and also working and alsoooo I’m applying to a few state jobs, so it will be a busy one! Also, I have a fun giveaway coming up next week, so stay tuned for that! It’s for my current obsession: workout clothes! Yay!

Cute braid! I’ve always loved the St. Louis Cardinals. Probably because my grandparents tooks me to a game every year. I’ve never had a wine slushy but it sure sounds tasty!!!!

I am so so so very excited for your giveaway next week! Win some workout clothes, um yes please! My weekend consists of a 5k, starting tonight. A haircut and coffee date tomorrow. Sunday is my parents visiting our church, lunch with my in-laws, and then dinner with my parents.(That’s what happens when your parentals live blocks from each other.) I am nervous for my haircut. I love my long hair and don’t want to cut any of it off, but it has been over a year since I cut my hair, so my ends are dreadful.Your wine slushy looked tasty! My husband teases me about my wine tastes too, he says I just like juice boxes that have sat out in the sun too long!

I love the Kane County Cougars, which is the Single-A minor league baseball team by me! And oddly enough, they used to be the affiliate of the A’s!
The Cubs are my favorite major league team, but I’ve been going to Cougars games since I was young… minor league games are so much more fun (and less expensive!)

I <3 baseball!!! I'm a Missouri girl so I <3 the STL Cardinals!!! My daughter is competing in our state games this weekend, in MO they are the Show-Me State Games. She is competing in gymnastics. A wine slushy sounds very refreshing and relaxing. A visit to a winery is on my bucket list.
I have a cardinals tee shirt! Does that count?? hehe :) I love the bird and the color (I sound like suuuuch a girl) and how fun that your daughter’s in gymnastics!! Have fun!

Grapes are delicious. I have never been a huge fan of baseball because it is kind of boring to watch but there is something I kind of like about it, I just don’t know what haha. While this has nothing to do with the sport, I am really wanting a baseball cap. I was reading Gentri Lee’s blog last night and in one of her posts she had one on and I was like oh, I need one! Just to wear with jeans and a tee. It would be cute and comfy and now I am obsessed with getting one. I’m a little crazy.
