So last night we had our California State Fair photo shoot! It was so much fun, just galavanting around the fair, taking pictures, drinking wine slushies and eating cotton candy! :) It happened to be $1 ride night (figures) so there was an insane amount of people there, and like hour long waits to ride rides, so that didn’t happen. Just our luck. Lesson learned. It also just so happened to be the night that LeAnn Rimes was performing, so as we walked by the concert, we were serenaded by her “flagship song” as Zack referred to it. How do I live without youuuuu? I want to know. It really set the mood. ;)
Remember how Zack took me shopping this weekend? Here’s my mini haul from it! :) I got my birthday freebie from Sephora (yes, a little late, but Sephora is so awesome and gave it to me anyway!) And the sweet girl said happy late birthday to me. Seriously made my night. Loose neon green yoga top from vs on sale for $10 hollaaaa! AND a free panty, because I had a coupon. so again, more free stuff. More happiness. We also got some mason jars with handles (!!!) at pottery barn, which made me feel like a grown up. Tell me I’m not alone in feeling all grown up when buying things from home stores like pottery barn? I mean, glasses, folks. You never care about those things in high school, and then somewhere between then and now you start getting all excited about them and also pillows and egyptian sheets and things? When did that happen?! I also used some Old Navy gift cards I had accumulated from my in-laws and bought my most favouritest pair of yoga/running leggings everrrrr. I am obsessed with them. They are SUPER long (yay!) and comfortable and I want to wear them all of the time, but I have to wait because it’s like summer or something. I also bought a running jacket. Again with the waiting. I’m not sure why I do this to myself. Zack got a few things too. I seriously think that sometimes I enjoy shopping for him more than I do for myself. You know, sometimes.
And now for another haul, but in the form of a video, yay! :) Because in case I didn’t write enough in that previous paragraph, now I will talk a lot.

I am so glad that you did the F21 haul video! Loved it! Love those workout pants and the sports bras! My wedding colors were tiffany blue or pool blue and brown, so I am a big fan of that shade of blue as well!! I ran this morning with my hubby too. We have a race tomorrow night. Fun you went to the fair! We’ve been thinking about it but it’s just been so hot! With The Love Nugget it makes things kind of hard… Love the mason jar drinking glasses! I have two myself and feel so Southern when I drink out of them :-)

love your video “…curse you for your $10 everything”, SO true! I’m actually going to pick up a pair of jeans today that I tried on yesterday, but had to “sleep on it” and they are $10.80… (why would I even sleep on that?!)

I’ve been to the State Fair almost every year since I was born! My husband and I went on $1 ride night too and it was disappointing. We waited in line for 45 minutes just to ride the ferris wheel! :P
Aww yeah, we were standing in line for the ferris wheel for a few minutes and then realized we couldn’t wait almost an hour just to ride it!! I wish we had, though, because I do love ferris wheels… sigh

I must admit, I absolutely love when you do vlogs. You are beyond cute and seem like so much fun! :) Anyway…you got some super cute things! I haven’t shopped at F21 in forever though…mainy because that would mean having to go to the mall and also, as you’ve mentioned, the quality of their clothing. I would love to go though and see if I can find some cute things before the school year begins though!
Also, I can’t wait to have my “own” place rather than living with people who have everything, but I just want to decorate and have my own things. :) SO I totally get what you mean when you feel “grown up” buying home items! haha.

I have never been to the Indiana state fair since it is all the way by Indy but some year I will go! Our fair, in our town, isn’t til September so I am counting down the days til the rides and food. The best. I can’t wait to see the photos from your photo shoot!
Every single time I think of LeeAnn Rimes, I just think of me back in the day. At like age 6, standing on the couch with a hairbrush in hand and Barbie nightgown on, singing along to my LeeAnn Rimes cassette tape and her song One Way Ticket(Because I Can). I knew all the words to every song but that one was my favorite.
ANYWAY. Now that story hour is done…
I love your vlogs! I think you and Zack should make another one together sometime soon. That would be great! I have been thinking about doing a haul video of everything I have gotten while shopping the past few months – there is tons! Aww fairs are so fun! I love small town ones the best, too. I don’t know, there’s just something so cute and especially fun about them. :) I never listened to LeeAnn Rimes growing up, since I pretty much “hated” country music until I met Zack! Haha now I love it, but yeah. Never got into her. As for videos with Zack and me, any ideas as to what we should do? They are super fun and you should totally do a haul one! They’re awkward at first, but you get used to it :)
