This is what I wore on a day during our heat wave. It was H-O-T and I wanted to wear the smallest/breeziest clothes I could find (besides the boots, but we won’t discuss that at this time, okay) and thus, these shorts were pulled out from my wardrobe. Oh, these shorts. They are seriously short. Like, are-those-shorts-or-are-those-undies short. Said in my mom’s voice, because that is totally something she would have said. And then she would have told me the oft-told story of how her dad would always threaten to attach lead weights to the ends of her shorts in high school when she wore super short shorts. You know, to make them longer. Well, I got blessed with my mom’s legs, and really, it’s probably not even the shorts’ fault, it’s just these dang legs. Can’t help it. Nothing to be done. Except maybe find some lead weights. Anyone know where I can find some of those?
