Our good friend Pam had a birthday brunch this past weekend. She was actually one of the hostesses (with the mostesses) at our baby shower on Saturday! So Sunday morning we got together and celebrated her day of birth over brunch, which is always fun. Yes, I did not get to participate in those bottomless mimosas (travesty, I know) but to be honest, I didn’t miss that part in the least. The company was good, the food was delish, and we just had ourselves a dang good time. Also, I had my first “pregnancy perk” (better late than never?) when a sweet woman let me go before her in the bathroom. I insisted that no, it was fine, she was first, but she just replied, “No, no, I mean, you’re…” PREGNANT. Yes. That is the word that escaped her. Ha! ;) Anyway. Thank you kind lady in the bathroom. My bladder and I truly appreciated that. (TMI?)
