While we’re on vacation for our anniversary, I’ve decided to share a new post each day from our wedding. Enjoy! :) In case you missed the previous post, here’s part 1.
It was finally here. May 20th, 2011. The best day of my life.
We opted to have a “first look” to ease any nerves and to have a special private moment together right before the ceremony. It was a sweet moment where we looked at each other and just squealed and shared a few minutes alone before the craziness of the wedding began! I definitey recommend doing this, for all you future brides out there!

I looove your wedding dress.
The husband and I had a first look, too, and it was such a special moment. Even though our wedding was tiny, we still shared that special moment. That and our silly champagne-n-pizza wedding night are my two favorite memories from that day.
Awww thanks girl!! :) YES, I always tell people if they’re on the fence about doing a first look, to go for it! Yeah, it breaks tradition, but it’s just such a great way to ease the butterflies a little!

1. SPARKLY SHOESSSSSSS. I have this obsession with sparkle shoes. I’ve seen pictures of your dress before but the back of it is so pretty too!
2. Getting ready photos are some of my favorites. I am not sure why but maybe it is because you can sense the excitement for the wedding to start.
