Short story time: my grandparents lived on a farm, so I have a lot of memories there growing up. My grandpa always had horses and cows and chickens (the best eggs! There’s something about going out there and literally getting them from the chicken coop) and even a donkey (my grandpa got my grandma a donkey for her birthday one year- HOW ROMANTIC IS THAT, I KNOW). Anyway. Another thing my grandpa always had were cowboy boots (Justin boots, to be exact- only the best!), and so I always wanted some too, because my grandpa was the coolest, duh. So one year I got these pink cowboy boots, and you’d better believe I would not take them off. They went with everything, naturally. ;) And I’d walk around the farm in my cowboy boots with my grandpa in his cowboy boots, and life was perfect.
Okay, fast forward to now. I just got myself a brand new pair of cowboy boots! And guess what, they are beautiful. And warm and comfy and yes, they still do go with everything.
Case in point? This outfit here. My gorgeous winter coat, which I always pictured as more of a “dressy” piece of clothing, paired with my new boots and some leggings. I’m seriously loving this look, and will be pairing these boots with everything this season! They’re warm and made with quality, but also super stylish and cute! That’s a winning combination, if you ask me.
Yep. Justin Boots are my new favorite addition to my winter wardrobe. They keep my toes warm in the cold weather and pair so nicely with leggings, skinny jeans and even tights! I love the bit of edge they add to any outfit, too.
But my favorite part? They bring me right back to that farm, walking side by side with my grandpa. And that’s kind of the best thing ever.
What are your favorite boots for the winter?

Aw thanks girl! The coat is from Anthropologie a few years back- it’s by Lauren Moffatt. Check ebay! :)

Here in WI I usually choose UGGs (or ugg style that have a thick-furry inside, or waterproof snow boots. We get a lot of that gross white stuff. Lol
I do love a good cowboy boot but typically in the spring/fall.

Ooh I love my Uggs, too! We don’t get snow, but when it’s cold, there is nothing better than some warm cozy Uggs!!
