SHOES FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY

I love getting a new pair of boots each year for the season (because yes, gifting oneself is totally a thing) and buying a pair for each of the kids, and the hubby, for the season! Sophie and I are matching in our Ugg boots, and Sam got some great winter Sorel boots, Zack opted for the Ugg slippers he’s been eying forever, and Ollie snagged his own little baby booties that I can’t even handle.

Can we talk about the fact that miss Sophie has her very own pair of Ugg boots?! I didn’t get my first pair of Uggs until I was in college, so I’m kind of jealous of her, tbh. ;) ALSO. BABY UGG BOOTIES ARE A THING. And Ollie is HERE for it, with his warm little toesies. Family twinning forever and ever, amen.

Of course, we had to test out our new boots, so while Sam was in school, we explored the Fairy Garden at the park. Do you have one of these where you are? A few of our city parks have “fairy gardens”- magical little clusters of trees that people (I mean… fairies…) have put little doors and treasures and signs into the tree trunks. It’s so cute and whimsical, and it’s one of Sophie’s favorite places to explore and open the doors and see what the fairies have left. Such a fun little outing. Whenever we get trees in our own backyard (#newhomeprobs) I’m for sure going to create a fairy garden of our own! Oh, why wait. I may just do it with what we have. :)
