Okay, so I’ve shared my makeup routine before (here!), but not surprisingly, a LOT has changed since then! I mean, I feel like it’s pretty common to go a while with the same products day in and day out, experiment with some new ones, and transform your daily routine slowly. This is exactly what I’ve done, and I feel like I have found some amazing products that I SWEAR by. So I wanted to share those with you today! What I put on my face on the reg:
it cosmetics cc cream – I have tried a million foundations and a handful of bb/cc creams, and this stuff? Is the BEST. It is thick enough to serve as my foundation, but light enough to never be “cakey” and is totally buildable. I rarely wear foundation any more (unless it’s a special occasion or I’m going out)! I seriously love this stuff, for covering any imperfections but still looking like your SKIN. Amen for that!
it cosmetics concealer – this stuff is SO good. It covers up those dark circles from #mamahood. And it lasts for-ev-errr!
anastasia brow wiz – I had seen so many fellow bloggers using this, and needed to know what the hype was about. Well, I GET IT. I pretty much don’t go a day without using this on my brows, it’s just, well, it’s magical, really. So easy to apply, and gives a nice natural filled in brow. I only wish it lasted longer- I feel like I go through these a lot. :/
Urban Decay Eyeshadow – I’m all about neutral eyeshadows for every day (I also love shimmer gold, as it goes so well with blue eyes!), and the Naked2 Basics palette is one of my faves! Makes a great smokey eye, too.
Revlon Eyeliner – I don’t wear eyeliner every day, but when I do, I like a nice cat eye on the upper lash line. I love this Lancome eyeliner, but this one is a great dupe for much less!
YSL The Shock Mascara – OMG guys. This mascara is EVERYTHING. I’m obsessed. Another favorite of mine is Lancome Hypnose.
elf bronzer/ blush duo – this stuff is SO GOOD, both colors are beautiful and I think universally flattering (I have the St Lucia color). ALSO, guys, the price cannot be beat!! No need to spend an arm and a leg on bronzer or blush, in my opinion. Love this stuff so much, as you can clearly tell by the fact that I’m nearly out.
eos lip balm – Ask Zack, I have quite the collection of these little guys, all over our house. ;) I seriously love this stuff, and I very rarely actually wear lipstick or any color on my lips. This keeps them moisturized and happy!
OPI nail polish – One of my favorite colors, in “Alpine Snow.” You know, when they are totally chipped because #momlife.
And some real life right there in the bottom left corner for ya. ;) My little helper.
There you have it! My everyday makeup!
What are some of your fave makeup products?

I love just a simple tinted moisturizer, blush, eyeliner and mascara for everyday wear! Quick and easy!

I use the Naked palette as well! I think it’s #2, but I feel like it’s twice as long, so maybe it’s a different #?? Either way, they have the BEST neutral shades! I use Beautycounter foundation and blush, Beautycounter concealer and lip gloss, and then honestly, like the cheapest mascara and eyeliner I can find! ha! A little contradictory there, but oh well, I’ve never taken the time to find a GOOD mascara/eyeliner so I just grab something at the grocery store. I need to look into the one you suggested!
Katie
Yesss Naked’s eyeshadows are SO pretty! And neutrals are the best, I agree! Girl. I am OBSESSED with mascara! I also love CoverGirl LashBlast (the orange one) for a good drugstore mascara!

Love your blog – – I’d take a peek into Beautycounter – with your interest and passion for healthy living, this company could be right up your alley. 99% of the makeup I use is from this company. :). Highly recommend for that simple, easy look that mamas need!

I love this! I’m curious if you use a setting powder. I go back and forth between It CC+ and Clinique Beyond Perfecting foundation, both are like foundations and concealers in one, but with both I get annoying build up around my noise and breakdown between my eyebrows and chin. So annoying!
Katie
So, I usually don’t use a setting powder (mostly because I forget, and it’s another added step lol), buuuut I have used powder a few times to set it, and it works really well!! I might have to remember it more often! ;) It definitely helps everything stay longer! I would definitely try a powder and see if that helps rid the build up you’re talking about!
