we bought a pumpkin! and he’s sitting happily on our front porch. and i’m not even sure if i want to carve him or anything, and no it isn’t because i’m lazy and don’t want to do all that work (because it isn’t work, it’s fun!) it’s just that he’s so perfect-looking and content in his natural state of pumpkin-ness and i don’t want to mess that up for him, you know? and, yes, my pumpkin is a “he” and his name, is mister pumpkin. duh. what else would his name be? and that would be my mister husband posing with him. ain’t he the cutest?

He is a pretty perfect looking pumpkin and those guys are not easy to find! Carving may take away from his perfectness…or make him even more awesome :)
haha i know! zack had to dig deep for him, too- this particular pumpkin was wayyyy underneath all the other pumpkins. which is maybe why i like him even more :) annnnd you may be on to something there about the carving… we shall see!

aw thank you!! i know, we are pretty lucky that mister sun stays around for quite some time! :) but i have to tell you a secret: we didn’t go to the pumpkin patch yet! this little guy’s from the market. oops. it’s in the plans, though!!

Also I love mister pumpkin. I normally get two pumpkins and carve both of them so I can have one on either side of the porch. But I’m not sure what I’ll do this year.
