You guys. Yosemite. If you haven’t been, you need to go, and if you have been, well you should probably go again, because it is the most beautiful place on earth. I’m convinced of this. And I’ve got pictures to prove it. A lot. Of pictures. Sorry about that. ;) This trip was incredible, and I almost feel that the pictures really do say it all, don’t you? The scenery was breathtaking, we had a party every day with my parents, we played Taboo (our favorite party game), we drank hot chocolate and sat by a big fire, we explored the mountains, we hiked to the falls, we shopped in the gift shops (oh, the gift shops!), we jumped on a “swinging bridge,” we took the long route and almost got car sick on the ride up, we rang the chapel bells in the valley, we ate too much and then got the dessert, we walked in the rain (oh, how it rained!), we put on our lipstick (because you can’t be ready until you have your lipstick on!), we listened to angel music, we hung out with deer (a lot of deer!) and it. was. perfect.
I’ll leave you with some words of wisdom, via my mom, the source of the wisest wisdom, really: “Rain turns to snow if it gets cold enough.” A to the men.
And today I’m thankful for… lodges in the mountains. Because I simply do not do camping.
