This is my life. “I need coffee” is just one of those daily phrases that can be expected to come out of my mouth. When I got pregnant, I was scared I’d have to give up my beloved coffee, but soon was reassured by my doctor that I could still in fact enjoy my little cup of happiness each morning! Praise the Lord! ;) Fun fact: I learned that one can have up to 3 cups of coffee a day whilst with child! I mean, one is plenty enough for me, but hey. Good to know? Another fun fact: apparently herbal tea is a no-no during pregnancy? Who knew? I always thought it was better for you than coffee, but there you have it. Thanks, What to Expect When You’re Expecting for that little nugget.
Anyway. Coffee. It’s delicious but it’s not always friendly on the wallet, if you know what I mean. So I was pretty darn happy when I learned about this new Rubi coffee kiosk that was just put into our local grocery store. It’s a convenient machine where you choose which coffee you want (they even have a pumpkin spice latte for fall! Giving you-know-who a run for their money!) and the machine does the rest. Magic, really. And for $1-$2 (depending on which kind and size you get) it is really unbeatable. That’s half of what you’ll pay anywhere else. And it’s fresh ground coffee! The beans are ground right then and there, so it’s none of that instant stuff. Yay! Plus, you can personalize your cup of coffee by choosing how much milk and sweetener (if any) you want added. If you don’t drink coffee, don’t worry. They have hot chocolate too! Which, coincidentally, I am planning on getting tonight after dinner. Yes, I am obsessed. It happens.

i neeeeeed that shirt! that one has so been on my wishlist! and totally relate about the coffee! i was so excited when my doc peoples told me to have a cup!! especially with the pregnancy brain, oh dear, i needed it ;) and lots herbal teas are totally amazing to drink, you just wanna research what herbs are in a tea before you drink it because some aren’t good for preggies! but since the FDA doesn’t control natural stuff, they just warn against it as a whole! but really it depends on the herb!
I think I first saw the shirt on YOUR pinterest, and was like. WHOA. This needs to be in my closet, yesterday. haha And as for the herbal tea, I’m so glad you told me that, because I was shocked to learn that?? I will definitely be doing my own research, because I loves it so!!!!

That would be an awesome kiosk to have nearby :) Another fun fact not many people seem to know: Did you know decaf coffee does not mean un-caffinated, and that about three to five cups of decaf is equivalent to a cup of regular caffeinated coffee?
It really is awesome to have so close to home!! :) And yeah, I did know decaf doesn’t mean no caff, although it would make more sense if it did! My mom would always say about decaf, “what’s the point?!” ;)

what! that is like a magic machine!!! so jealous. and love that they have pumpkin spice. i am now on a mission to find one and hug it. happy to hear you can still have the coffee while preggo but so crazy you can’t have herbal tea!? making babies is quite the business :)
Haha it really is a magic machine full of coffee goodness! Making babies is no joke! And apparently herbal tea IS okay, I just have to research to learn which kinds are good. Ugh. Hard work. ;)
