Dear vacation, you were so very much needed! We’re back home now and feeling refreshed and ready to tackle anything that comes our way. Funny how a trip to the beach is just what one needs sometimes.

Dear cats, it is very apparent by your constant purring and attention-grabbing that you have missed us. Which is good because, since you are our children, we missed you too. I still can’t believe I have turned into a cat person, but I so have.

Huntington Beach was amazing. It’s this cute little town (known as “surf city usa”) with a pier and beach for miles! We stayed at the Hyatt Huntington Beach Resort and Spa (thanks to Zack’s uncle for the employee hook-up!) and it was incredible. We got upgraded to a full ocean view room and were greeted with some champagne and yummy treats, too. We rode bikes a few days (one day we rode to Newport Beach and back- 15 miles!) and swam in the hotel pools and went on the water slides! Yes you read that right, there are water slides. I know. It was awesome. We enjoyed every single minute. We’re still trying to adjust to normal life. Give us a few days…. weeks. And now! On to the vacation pictures! Because that is why you are really here, non?

    omg Huntington Beach looks SO pretty!! We considered it for our honeymoon, but people that have been there before unfortunately put a bad picture in my head so we decided against it. I was picturing rough beaches and dirty water.

      Aww yeah, we really liked it! But we literally only stayed on the beach and Main Street, and didn’t venture anywhere else, sooooo maybe that’s why? The water was gorgeous, though! And SO MANY surfers!

    You two are absolutely darling! When visiting California we went to Huntington Beach and passed this gorgeous resort. I definitely want to make a trip down their again someday just to stay there.
