Sophie girl turned 5 a few weeks ago. I CANNOT believe we have ourselves a 5 year old! So crazy! She seems so big and yet so little at the same time. This age is precious (and also, yes, frustrating and a rollercoaster of emotions haha! Our girl is SPUNKY) and I’m soaking it all in. As much as I can, I really am. She’s still so innocent and sweet, and we’re trying our darndest to never break her spirit! Sharing some gift ideas for 5 year old girls in this post, too, if you’re looking for some! :)

We started her day with a breakfast donut surprise (her favorite!) and made sure to make her day just as special as possible, with limited resources. But the thing about kids? They don’t need big fancy accolades. When asked what she wanted for her birthday, she simply replies “to play with Sam and Ollie.” Her brothers. *cue the mama tears* So we had donuts for breakfast, and we took a picnic lunch to her favorite playground and had salmon and broccoli for dinner (her choice, bless her little heart). Gahhhh have I mentioned how much I love this age?!

Gift Ideas for 5 Year Old Girls
This tutu dress is the perfect princess dress- so full and gorgeous! This Is My Dollhouse is one of her favorite books! We had checked it out from the library, and she fell in love, so she was really excited to have it for herself! These are our favorite heirloom dolls– beautiful quality and handmade! She got an upgrade from her micro mini scooter (which will now be her little brother’s) to this Razor scooter (with tassels, no less)!
