I got these rain boots about 6 years ago, when I was going to visit my best friend (also named Katie. I know.) who was studying in Edinburgh. I remember knowing that I absolutely needed some Wellies, I mean, I was going to the land of my ancestors, after all! The rolling hills of Scotland were just begging for me to wear some cute Wellies whilst prancing around the cliffs and whatnot, you know. So, I found this perfect pair at Banana Republic, and it was love at first sight. And that trip? Oh, it was a good one. As the clock stroke midnight, we rang in the new year by swigging from a bottle of champers while being serenaded by a bagpipe. We shopped on Princes Street and explored the cobblestone streets of Edinburgh in the pouring rain. We had lunch at the coffee shop where J.K. Rowling wrote Harry Potter (although I hadn’t even read the books yet, this was still very cool!) and we got lost in the National Gallery. I had my first “legal” drink in a pub (Jack and coke, if you must know) while singing “I Would Walk 500 Miles” at the top of our lungs. I absolutely loved that trip, and I’m ready to go back, I say! Who’s with me?

I LOVE how your denim shirt is cut on the bottom. Mine goes straight across, so it isn’t nearly so flattering as yours is when paired with leggings. Maybe it also has something to do with your rocking body. Ha! :) Like your look a lot!

i just ordered my third chambray shirt am i obsessed? just a bit but i i always find a reason for a light colored chambray, my polka dot chambray and the darker chambray color. cute outfit!!
