I don’t know who I am! I’m like cat here, a couple of no-name slobs. We belong to nobody and nobody belongs to us. We don’t even belong to each other.
It’s Halloween! The day where we all get to dress up in disguises. We’re heading to my parent’s house to make chili and cornbread (Halloween tradition!) and watch a scary movie (the last of the year, which in my case is probably a good thing) and of course, pass candy out to the cute little Trick or Treaters! And I will be looking something like this. Holly Golightly, my go-to Halloween costume. Really, each year now it’s a toss up between that and a ballerina/fairy, so you know. This year, I went classic. I’ve loved “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” for a while now, and Audrey Hepburn is my idol. Maybe because she was also a ballerina, or maybe because she’s a brunette too, or maybe just because, hello! She’s Audrey Hepburn! The epitome of class and beauty, in my book. Speaking of books, you should read the book too. It’s real good. But, of course, Audrey isn’t in the book. So. There’s that. And yes, I dress up just to pass candy out on Halloween. I love dressing up and getting into the spirit of things, so I’ll be chillin’ eating my big bowl of chili looking like Audrey. I know, I know.
