So I got a few requests a while back to share my makeup routine with you all. I tried to film a video of me applying my makeup, but jeeze, you guys, that is not easy. It was, if we’re being honest, just one big FAIL, so I’m sticking to a good ole’ blog post instead. I’ll picture each one and link to where to buy the products, if you feel so inclined! Also, you can just click the photo to get to each product. Enjoy! :)

(My most favourite crease eyeshadow EVER!!)
(3 coats of this = falsies, and the waterproof is amazing)
First, I apply a moisturizer as my base, to get my skin ready for makeup and give it that dewy, fresh look. I then dab a bit of concealer under my eyes and put tinted moisturizer all over my face. That SPF is important to protect your sensitive skin! I then use a flat top brush and apply some foundation all over in circular motions, making sure to blend really well. Using my big fluffy brush, I apply bronzer to my cheekbones and up on my temples as well and also do some contouring, to give that “sun-kissed” look. Then I use a blush brush to apply a bit of blush to the apples of my cheeks, for some color. For my eyes, I use the lighter eyeshadow on the upper brow bone, right underneath my eyebrows and put the darker shadow in the crease, to create definition. I then apply liquid liner in a very fine line only on the upper lash line of my eye, never the bottom, as this makes your eyes appear bigger. I finish off the look with a few swipes of mascara and some lip balm! Voila!
Obviously, this isn’t every day. Some days, I literally wear no makeup and some days I go heavier. Just depends on how I’m feeling. But those products up there? They are my go-to, holy grail makeup products. Some are more high-end, and some are dirt cheap. Cus that’s how I roll. I cannot stress enough: you do NOT have to pay ridiculous amounts of money to get great products! Some of my absolute favourites are under $5 (I’m looking at you, NYC bronzer and e.l.f. eyeliner!)

Ahhh I want that so bad! I have a few of the loose pots of some of the colours in Naked, but yeah. That thing looks amazing!

I LOVE my Naked 2 palette too! I use it every day it was better than any shadow I’d ever used since I usually buy the cheap stuff. If you like elf you should try there mineral eyeshadow primer its just a dollar and works great :)
I just love elf, especially since everything’s so freaking cheap! :) I’ll definitely try that primer out!

I use Lash Blast quite often. It’s affordable and effective. Have you ever tried Baby Lips in coral? It’s by far the most affordable, soft, creamy, staying, colorful lip balm out there! Seriously. I love it. I never go through lip balms (that…or I lose them, whatever). But with this one I use up every tube!

i’m a product junkie too. we have similar go-to products including the MUFE foundation, elf eyeliner, and covergirl mascara. i use the champagne eyeshadow everyday too but for a highlight on my cheekbones, not on my eyes. another go-to for me is Rimmel Stay Matte translucent powder. without it? i’d be an oily, grease ball by the end of the day! ;)

So yesterday I bought my first EVER concealer. I had the one you use in my hand and chose the Sonia Kashuk one instead (I hope I like it… of course I forgot to try it today). I love e.l.f. eyelid primer.

I love the Clinique gel! I recently got their whole 3 step system (cleanser, toner & moisturizer) and I absolutely love it!
I got two of my first Elf brushes yesterday and love them =)
LOOOVE the entire system! I have it all, too. It’s seriously the best. And yayyy for elf brushes! They’re all I use! Cannot beat the price.

Gotta love Clinique! That is definitely apart of my skin care regimen too. (And, I always buy my 3step products when they have the makeup bags with goodies-makes spending $25 on lotion (like I did today) a little easier) Love the mix of your products. Gotta mix the spendy and affordable together! And, E.L.F. brushes are amazzzzing. :-)

Haha, yeah, I realized a while ago to not be a product snob, because seriously, there is some GOOD stuff for dirt cheap! ;) Although, some things definitely are better high-end!
