Ha! Clearly, that title is dripping with sarcasm… So this weekend, as we all know by now, was Daylight Savings Time. You know, Spring forward! Yippee! Only… not. Like, really really not. Sam has been sleeping not so well as it is lately, and he literally woke up at 3:45 AM the morning of Daylight Savings. And then took a “nap” from 8-8:30, and then we went to church (not sure how we did that in retrospect, but hey! We got out of the house so yay for us, ha!) and then he proceeded to be super whiny and irritable and of course refuse to nap (I’m afraid he’s almost completely done with napping, which I am NOT happy about…) annnnd yeah. Sunday was rough, not gonna lie.

Why do we still change the time, anyway? We were talking with my in laws about it, and we concluded the best thing would be to just always stay ON Daylight Savings Time. No more switching. There’s legislation in California to do away with DST. It’s got my vote!
I think every parent can agree with that, too. It’s just… annoying.
Anyway. The rest of the weekend was super fun! We went to library storytime on Saturday morning, Zack and I got a little date night to go to his school’s crab feed and the sun was out and it was WARM, so really, I don’t have anything to complain about.
Sleep. Eh. Who needs it, right? ;)
I hope your weekend was fabulous and you actually got to SLEEP!!! Now, tonight is the Bachelor finale, whatttt! Who’s your pick?? I think Nick chooses Vanessa, even though I think it’s a terrible choice for him. I’m sorry, but he’s super lame and only in it for the fame (I mean, on the Bachelor 3 times?? Really?? Move onnnn!) and she is WAY too good for him. Like, I really like her as a person. Hoping she doesn’t uproot her life and move to LA to be with this loser.
Okay. Clearly, I have strong feelings about this. What are your thoughts??

Hahahah totally agree with you on the Bachelor!! Just a lame-o. I’m pretty sure he goes with Vanessa..but a part of me thinks maybe she says no. I mean come on, she HAS to be smarter than that. Right?? Did you see he’s on DWTS too? TOTALLY IN IT FOR THE FAME. Boooooo! PS that sweet pic of Sophie running in the library is adorbs.
I WISH she said no!!! That after the final rose was soooo awkward! They don’t even seem to like each other! It was just all sorts of uncomfortable. And yeah. Of course he’s on DWTS. Of course.

I agree on both your hair being amazing and day light savings being not so amazing! We put so much effort and time into getting our kids to go off to sleep at a certain time and then daylight savings comes and throws it all out the window! Ahh! Annoying.
But this season won’t last forever I suppose :) xo

I think I am the only person who likes daylight savings? However you could be on to something with just keeping the time the same ON daylight savings, year round. My 3 year old has always been problematic sleeper anyway. Hence why I love coffee SO MUCH. :) x
Haha, okay I like it when it’s in full-swing, like yesssss staying light later is the best!! But that first day is always so rough. Let’s get that going with forever DST! And YES coffee is a necessity, always. ;)
