So okay. Maybe my Christmas sweater wasn’t all that ugly (like, at all, I actually really love it). And maybe Zack wasn’t even wearing a sweater (but I mean, look at his shirt- it’s awesome). And maybe I was pregnant so I didn’t get any peppermint schnapps in my hot chocolate (but I still got heaps of marshmallows and whipped cream and peppermint shavings). And maybe we left early because I was tired (again, pregnant). But we still had ourselves a damn good time at my friend’s Ugly Christmas Sweater party. And that’s all that matters.

That’s the way to do it, buy an “ugly sweater” for the party, then you get to wear it all winter long ;). Agreed as long as you had a good time, that’s all that matters, and heaps of marshmallow, whipped cream, and peppermint shavings?? You can’t go wrong with that!!

Hah, I love the whole resurgence of the ‘ugly Christmas sweater’. They always make me laugh. I’ve never gone to a party, but in my family gift swap there are some reeal beauties that get passed around jokingly year to year. :)

How fun! My husband and I were planning on hosting an ugly Christmas sweater party this year, but didn’t start planning soon enough, and now the ship has sailed. Next year, we plan to host one for sure!

A couple from our bible study hosted an Ugly Sweater Party this year and me and my sister and bro in law went to it. My sweater was not really ugly other than a super weird collar but it was still fun. They played a game, had snacks, did a funny white elephant gift exchange(mine was a $1 tied with a bow, in a bigger box that was wrapped in Justin Bieber paper cause it was the best I could come up with. haha) and had a little prize for best ugly sweater. It was a lot of fun though! And why in the world do I always babble and tell my own stories in comments. That is what I have my blog for. Need to work on stopping the novels lol.
