Most days I can be found wearing something comfortable and casual. Being a mom to a constantly on-the-go little one-year-old will do that to you. Pretty much, if I can’t chase after him and roll around on the ground in it, then I’m not wearing it, period. And that’s all fine and dandy, but just because I need to dress comfortably (especially now that I’m pregnant, too!) doesn’t mean I can’t be stylish and cute at the same time! This is pretty much my life’s motto: dress for comfort but keep your style. And it’s something that makes each day more fun and also gives me the boost of confidence that I need to tackle whatever I have on my plate. Enter Hanes. They make the best basic products for style and comfort, which is why I love them so. They understand that we want to be cute but we also want to be able to move and breathe and feel relaxed!
So today I’m sharing an off duty street style, in a bit more of a dressed-up way than normal. This is something I wore on a recent date night with my hubby, when I didn’t have to chase Sam around. This look is super simple to recreate, too. I live for ripped jeans, and I love the black wash because it gives off a bit of a more sophisticated look without being too dressy. Top with a comfortable Hanes scoop neck tee, with men’s ribbed “a-shirt” tank underneath for extra length. Pair with some simple black d’orsay pumps and a light blazer on top for a bit of color and you have an easy and chic date night look!
The best part of this outfit is that it’s easily dressed down with a simple change of shoes! Switch out the blazer for a suuuuuper comfy Hanes fleece crew sweatshirt (tied around the waist if it’s hot!) and a grey men’s ribbed “a-shirt” tank, swap the cute little purse for a diaper bag, throw on some tennies and BOOM. You’re ready to run around with your little wild boy. Easy. Comfortable. And stylish. My favorite kind of outfit.
How do you keep things comfortable?

I live in comfortable clothes too! My favorites are Converse shoes, loose shirts, & skinny jeans. If I get to stay home though, I’ll stay in my sweats! ;)

Yesss Converse are my favorite, and have been since forever! Love!!

I love dark ripped jeans, I honestly probably over wear them. Love you quick switch. Comfort really is the key. I always try to be sure I wouldn’t have to turn down an adventure because I’m simply not dressed for it.
PS _ I LOVE sam’s baby mocs. So cute!

Ahhhh! I good pair of comfortable skinny jeans is like home to me! I love pairing them with a funky pair of flats. I hardly wear heels (can’t seem to walk properly in them) so I love finding new and interesting flats and sandles. Love the post! This outfit is so cute and versatile!

Girl, I rarely wear heels, too! I’m already tall, plus they just aren’t comfortable usually! Thankfully these ones are super comfy! :) I still would switch to some flats after an hour or two ;)
