I found this dress at Kohl’s and I am in love! So in love, indeed, that it’s what I wore on my actual birthday day. You know, birthdays are always spread out to the entire week, therefore multiple outfits must be ready! This one was pretty simple, and easy to throw on, which was important since it was pretty hot that day! My favourite way to accessorize, always and forever, is with a cute hair bow. Aren’t these the cutest ones you’ve ever seen?! My darling friend Shio, of Sweetnessaboos, sells them and so kindly sent me a few! :) I’m a big fan.
The day after my birthday, my lovely in-laws came over and I opened a few presents from them, including the cutest hodge podge of patriotic things (since my mom-in-law knew that I didn’t own anything Americana!) which was adorable. Also, can we just talk about her great taste?! She picked out the cutest neon workout clothes for me! They know me too well.
Speaking of Americana, tomorrow’s the 4th! We have plans to go to my in-law’s annual BBQ for good food and of course, fireworks! I’ll be painting my nails patriotic-ish tonight and picking out some red white and blue to wear. Duh. It must be done.

I love your outfit, especially the sandals! My favorite accessory is earrings. I simply feel naked without them. My birthday is May 16th. Our plans for the 4th include a wedding, then a bbq with my husband’s parents, followed by a pool party, and fireworks. It is looking to be a fabulous fourth!

I’m one of the uncool ladies meaning I’m not much into accessorizing. My sister in law is trying to rub off on me though. She is all about the accessories!!! My birthday is in April. It’s a big one. 3-0. I’m trying to embrace my age and not cringe every time I hear the word. I’m a work in progress. I’m leaning towards 30 is the new 20. My plans for the 4th are a family BBQ and the evening spent at the Fire in the Sky in our town’s park…we always go early so we can get a spot on the bank across the lake from where they shoot the fireworks off so they go off right above us it is absolutely breath taking :)
Haha my husband is turning 30 next week (!!!) and he’s definitely a work in progress as well! ;) I say, embrace it! I like that: 30 is soooo the new 20. Your 4th sounds like it’s going to be so much fun!

You are a doll, my sweet friend! And those shoes – I think they need to be in my closet!!! My favorite accessory is usually a scarf, but I haven’t worn any lately. So I guess a watch or bracelet is a must for me every day! And tomorrow, I get to be in a parade with my cheerleaders (I coach at a high school) and then we’re having a surprise 60th bday party for my FIL! Have a good one, doll!

My favorite accessories are necklaces. My birthday is near the end of October, so there was a lot of birthday/Halloween crossover growing up (read: lots of costume parties).
