I try really, really hard to bring out my big girl camera as often as possible, because let’s be honest, it’s soooo much more convenient and easy to use the good ole’ iphone the majority of the time! And that’s okay, because as my photographer friend Courtney says, the best camera is the one you have with you. So a lot of the in-the-moment shots and out-of-the-house shots I share and capture are in fact with my phone. It’s available, it’s there and thank God, because I get to capture so many real and raw moments because of that.
BUT. Sometimes, when the timing is right or when the mood strikes, I’ll bust out my Canon and have some fun. I’ve been doing this more recently, just playing around with lighting and angles and my favorite subjects (my babies, of course), and wanted to share a few shots here. My little ones, in their element, around the house, playing and reading and laughing. They just make me smile. Hopefully they do the same for you!
