ALL DAY MAKEUP ROUTINE WITH NEUTROGENA

In the summertime, I like my makeup to be as natural and fresh as possible, and I don’t like having to touch it up throughout the day. Ain’t nobody got time for that, right? Especially now since becoming a mom, getting my makeup to last all day is important! The last thing I want to worry about, or am able to worry about, is my makeup. I recently tried out a few new Neutrogena products (if you buy them at Target like I did, be sure to use this 10% off coupon from Cartwheel!), and thought it’d be fun to create a simple and quick routine with them for the summer. Because when it comes to summer makeup, simple and quick go hand in hand.

ALL DAY MAKEUP ROUTINE TUTORIAL

STEP ONE: SET THE FOUNDATION
Prime your face with moisturizer and then dab on some Neutrogena Healthy Skin liquid makeup using a brush. Okay, sometimes I just use my fingers when I’m in a hurry, but I definitely have noticed that a brush creates such a nice and even finish! So. Brush if you can, fingers if you must. I’m not judging. ;) I love that this foundation has SPF 20- so important for those long summer days in the sun! After the foundation, lightly pat on concealer underneath your eyes. Then set your foundation with Neutrogena Shine Control Powder. Because shine control is a must in the hot hot days of summer! After the powder I add on a little bronzer on the areas of my face where the sun would naturally hit. It adds some dimension and contours nicely. I then brush on a little blush to the apples of my cheeks, since I love a nice soft rosy color.

STEP TWO: ALL ABOUT EYES
Line the upper and lower waterline of your eyes with Neutrogena Nourishing eye liner. I chose the color Spiced Chocolate, which is a perfect brown shade, since I wanted a more natural look and I find black to be a bit harsh for the daytime. Smudge it in a bit too to create a smoky effect. Then apply Neutrogena Healthy Volume mascara to your lashes. I always apply two coats of mascara, waiting for a few minutes in between. Wiggle the brush on your lashes to really coat every part of them. I am always excited to try a new mascara, and I’m happy to report this one works so well! It really makes the lashes pop, which is what I’m all about.

STEP THREE: DON’T FORGET YOUR LIPS
Since this is a daytime makeup look, I went with the Neutrogena MoistureSmooth color stick in Juicy Peach, which is a nice natural shade. I love that it adds a hint of color to your lips without being too IN YOUR FACE. I am not the biggest lipstick wearer, especially during the daytime, and I absolutely LOVE the MoistureSmooth color stick! It goes on like a chapstick and is super nourishing and nice on the lips. I definitely recommend it!

And there you have it! My easy summer makeup routine. I can literally get this all done in less than 10 minutes- I even did it in 5 the other day! That’s a new record for me. I am lo-lo-loving all of these new products from Neutrogena, too. With such natural products, it’s just so easy to apply quickly and not really worry too much about doing it perfectly, since they all just blend so nicely anyway.
