Whenever I’m frustrated, sad, or feeling down, confused, tired or just generally apathetic, I work out. There is something magical about those endorphins. They really never fail to turn my mood completely around. Now, ladies, we all know that especially during “that time of the month” we can get somewhat “off” in our behavior. It’s pretty much the only time when I can be irrationally moody/tired/whatever. And one thing I simply will not let interfere in my workout routine (which I rely on each day to make sure I’m happy) is my monthly visitor. I’m not about to let anything cramp my style (oh, the puns!) and this is why I am a huge fan of U by Kotex. I tried it out on a running day, to really make sure it’s as good as it claims to be. It is! It fits into my lifestyle because it’s a great product that provides comfort and ease of mind and it doesn’t stop me from doing the things I want and need to do!
Speaking of running, it’s been a steady journey. Zack and I are trying to do it as much as we can, but most days I ride my stationary bike inside because it seems lately life has been pretty busy and I don’t get around to fitting in my cardio until the sun has gone down, and who wants to run in the dark? Not me. However, I’m a big proponent of getting in your exercise, however and whenever you can. It doesn’t matter if it’s super early before-the-sun-rises (and seriously, bless you people who can do that, because as much as I’d like to, I fail at this every time I try!) or if it’s after dinner and right before bed. It doesn’t matter. What matters is that you fit it in. What matters is that you make time to take care of your body and your health. Because nobody’s going to do it for you! And I promise you’ll feel so much better if you do.
p.s. If you know what movie my title reference of “surfing the crimson wave” is from, then we are instant BFFs.
