I’m thankful for life.  The air I breathe each and every day.  I’m thankful when I wake up to a brand new day and get to start all over.  A little mini restart, when I can forget what happened yesterday and focus on the moment I am in.  Because that’s all there really is, you know?  I’m thankful for this precious life because I know how short it is, and how beautiful it can be, and I don’t ever want to take that for granted again.  So I’m going to remember what I’m thankful for today and try to cling to that with every day to come.  Can I get an amen?  ;)

On a lighter note, I’m also thankful for pillows and big hair and genuine people and we mustn’t forget, marshmallows in my hot chocolate.  Whoever came up with that should win an award.

Thanksgiving was just loverly. I woke up early, got a good cardio workout in (preparing for the day of feasting!) and watched some of the parade (which, by the by, I know it’s a tradition and all that blah blah, it’s pretty much the SAME every year, and I must say, I think the cheese factor is raising.) Just the same, I watch it every year. I enjoy the marching bands, dance teams, and of course Santa at the end! :) The musicians were all a dissapointment, though, as it was painfully obvious that each and every one was lip syncing! Not impressive. Anyway, we went to my grandpa’s for the meal (at 2pm- only on Thanksgiving!) and then Zack’s aunt’s later on for dessert. It was so nice to just spend time with family, and it got me kick-started into the best time of year! I’m so excited for the Christmas season, and I’m so glad it’s finally here!
