Dear Hello Apparel, Thanks for the awesome top. It’s my new fave. Makes me smile every time I look in the mirror, and it has the same effect on others, too, I’ve noticed. Either that, or people are just laughing at me right in front of my face and I’m just over here like “awww they like my shirt!”
Dear Zack, I like when we go on walks after lunch each day. It’s nice. The bees aren’t so nice, but you know. One day we will live somewhere with no bees. And that will be a glorious day.
Dear Costco, I have a funny story about you. So. Zack and I decided to go to Costco for lunch yesterday. You know, the normal “sample lunch buffet” type of deal. And holy cow, there were SO MANY samples, and they all seemed to have a common theme: Mexican food. Which is our fave, so we were very ecstatic about the whole thing. We noticed there were more samples than usual, but nothing really clicked until we were literally almost to check-out, and I get my chips and salsa and then it hits me. “OMG it’s because Cinco de Mayo is Sunday!” I exclaimed loudly. I was just excited that I figured it out. And then we started laughing at our stupidity. And at how slow we are. But moral of the story: get yourself to a Costco this weekend, because the samples are incredible. It literally filled us up. We need to remember that: always go to Costco near a holiday. Best samples ever.
Dear Kentucky Derby, Our annual family party is tomorrow yay! Last year I totes chose the winning horse (I mean, I had to choose it with a name like “I’ll Have Another”- come on now that was too easy) and I plan on repeating my victory this year. We shall see. There will be hats and horses and mint juleps, and I am excited.
Anyone else watching the race tomorrow?

Seriously, Costco is INSANE right now with all that delicious food!! Mint juleps are just delicious. Kind of like a mojito? Sparkly and minty and yummy. I would so jump in that pool if I were you!

That tank top is adorable! I have never been to a Costco! I may have to find one and check it out! I have always wanted to go to the actual Kentucky Derby just so I have a excuse to wear a big floppy hat and dress up!! The weather is gorgeous here lots of sunshine and hitting the low 80’s!!
You should go to a Costco, they are amazing! OMG some day, I am so going to the kentucky derby! How fun would that be?! We still dress up and wear hats every year :)

ok i have a confession. my grandparents are extremely cheap (in th funny endearing sort of way) so whenever we stayed with them they would always take us to costco for ‘lunch’ aka find all the samples you can until you’re filled up! it’s not so bad when they have great samples!
