"just"

so. after 10 months of marriage, we FINALLY got ourselves to the social security card office to apply for a name change!! yay! yeah yeah, i know. we’re kind of late. but hey. the guy loved us. and told us that he’s had some people wait as long as 15 years (!) to get it. so. that made me feel wayyy better. he asked why we were there, and i said “well, we just got married…” and then he looks at the marriage license and starts laughing. “i was expecting it to have been, like, a few weeks ago.” then he proceeded to make fun of my usage of the word “just.” it’s all relative, right? ;)

i’ve unintentionally started doing this little “recap of the week in photos from my phone” and i’m kind of liking it.

we went on a date to costco on thursday. got a polish dog and a diet pepsi. nom.

i tried to convince zack that we neeeeeed a canon rebel. he didn’t buy it. (literally.) hrmph. y’know, my birfday is coming up…(!!!)

he did, however, get me some pirate’s booty. and he tried it (for the first time, mind you. yes. i know.) and doesn’t like it! shocked! so anyway. i get this entire bag all to myself. score! (i think i’ll share some with my dad, who also loves it, seeing as the bag is about four times the size of my head.)

i’ve been reading the harry potter series (yes, i am late to the party. like, waayyyy late, i am aware.) i’m on the 3rd book, and am loving every minute. zack and i watched the first movie on thursday night. lots of “‘arry pott’ah” impersonations were made. i loves him. (him, meaning zack. but i also loves harry potter, shhh.)
