‘Tis the season for holiday parties! I come bearing a few ideas for what to wear to said parties. Today, I’ve teamed up with none other than Sears to show you how to rock a cute holiday look for less by mixing in pieces of denim! I know, it’s shocking, but go with me here.
As we all know, the chambray shirt is one of those classic pieces that belong in everyone’s wardrobe and won’t be going anywhere anytime soon! I thought, what fun to see how it mixes with holiday party style, to kind of “dress down” a look just a little. Now, this isn’t for a super fancy cocktail party, but if you’re attending a friend’s holiday soiree and wanting to look dressy but also fashionable at the same time, this look could do the trick. I love the studs on the collar of this chambray top. They really bring an edge to the outfit that otherwise would not be there! Mixing the feminine dress with the more edgy and casual chambray really kicks your look up a notch.
Another look I thought would be fun to test out is pairing a denim vest with a dressy outfit. Again, it mixes class with an urban trend to creat an edgy, fun and fashionable look! I decided to mix this super feminine lace dress with the denim vest that I found at Sears! I love the way they pair so well, especially the light denim color with the light color of the dress. I ordered both of my denim pieces from Sears online, using their Shop Your Way rewards program, which gave me free shipping, holla! I’m all about the free shipping, always.
What do you think? Will you be incorporating your favorite denim pieces in your holiday style this year?

ALWAYS love your outfits Katie! Definitely love the first look– I looove the look of opaque tights– with almost everything! I need to add more denim to my wardrobe, I’m still on the hunt for the perfect chambray top!

Hey Katie,
I came to tell you the big news! We are leaving Thailand for a while. We are going to live in Barcelona again. My husband still needs to finish his MBA program over there. So you better follow my blog and adore our son as one does. HAHA I am going to try to post every week this week before we fly off next Monday.
So exciting! Like your lace dress! I think it would suit me too though I tend to wear darker colors. But the denim vest can hide any leak stains. OK that was kind of too much information but hey, I am a big fan of breastfeeding and maybe, this is something we have in common. Do you think you will be a big fan? :P
Oh we are also very much alike when it comes to free shipping. I am the one who types in google free shipping worldwide. This is how I ended up ordering Christmas presents from China! It was very exciting and I did not even check that it will take 29 days to get here! Yeah… we won’t be in Thailand by that time but since my husband is the boss, I am sure someone from the hotel will send it after us… ;)
I will be back tomorrow!
xoxo, Eszter

Yes, denim isn’t the first thing that might pop into your mind when you think holiday fashion but I love how you pull it off! The studs and the chambray on top of the black and combined with leather combine so many of this seasons hottest trends, absolutely love it!! Awesome post!
