Last night, Zack and I went to the Christmas concert with all of the little kiddies at the school where he teaches. Oh, goodness, it was the cutest thing ever and made me that much more excited for our own little one! :) Of course, we had to have a little photo shoot- c’est necessaire. It was the first really “festive” outing that we’ve done this year, and it just got the ball rollin’. Next up, driving around to see all the Christmas lights!
What are some of your favourite holiday traditions?

Cute little photos :)
I didn’t realize he was a teacher!—what grade/subject?
PS…I watched your dry shampoo tutorial, and it was so helpful!

Aww YAY I’m glad the tutorial was helpful!! :) And Zack teaches computers for K-8th graders! He just started this year, so it’s a pretty new job, but it’s so amazing and he loves it :) Also, it’s great practice, being around all those little ones!

Those pictures are absolutely adorable! Every year, I go with my parents to pick out their Christmas tree and because I live in the city now, they always wait for me to come home to decorate :) My parents have a huge party every year at their house filled with lots of food, family, & friends! In Manhattan, I go to Rockefeller Center every year to see the Christmas tree and I love going to all the department stores and checking out their window displays :)
Awww so sweet. We did the same with my parents and picking out/decorating the tree! So much fun!! I want to see the tree at Rockefeller! One year, we will go! :)

Hey Katie,
How was the drive?
I love your blog so much. This is the forth time I have checked today if you have written a new post. :)
I agree with Rachel’s comment, you two look super cute! And I can so imagine you getting emotional over the Christmas concert. I will love attending everything Zoárd will be in. Though I am not hurrying time…
I just finished my last post from Thailand. Sort of strange. I know we will get in the Christmas mode, now that we will be in Hungary with snow and everything. I already had everyone vote for the Christmas roll they would like to eat. Roll with poppy seed filling or chestnut filling, walnut filling etc is very traditional. We also stick many cloves in to an orange until it looks like a hedgehog. You should try this if you have time. It smells very nice. Christmas sparklers are a must as well. They are hand-held fireworks which we circle around in the dark. We open presents on the 24th of December on Christmas Eve. Baby Jesus puts the presents under the tree (Santa Claus is way gone by then, he comes in through the windows on the 5th of December placing goodies in to boots).
Please drop by to have a look at my last post if you do not mind me asking you to do this. :P

Aww Eszter, you are such a sweetheart!! So glad you like my blog :) That makes me really really happy! I definitely got emotional at the concert (I blame pregnancy hormones!) So exciting that you’re moving! I love all of the Hungarian traditions too- the boots is so cute! I believe they do that in Norway too (I’m 50% Norwegian) and I’ve always loved the idea. We may borrow that tradition with our own kids!!

Cute! Love christmas…
Aww thanks! I love Christmas too <3

Super cute pictures! You two are lovely!
Some of my favorite holiday traditions are going to see The Nutcracker Ballet and going to see Dovewood Court in Orangevale. They have an amazing Christmas light display there!
Aww thanks girly <3 YES, both of those are awesome traditions!! I'm hoping we're going to make it to see The Nutcracker this year!!

Awww how fun! I finally finished my Christmas shopping yesterday and did all of the dreaded wrapping last night. We’re going to drive around to see lights this weekend and I’m so excited! But I can’t believe that Christmas is almost here!

YAY get it girl!! I still haven’t finished all the wrapping, so you have now surpassed me! :)

Well technically I still have my fiances gifts to wrap… and he’s probably going to make me wrap the gifts to his family because I wrap better than he does {which is not much better at all!}. But ALMOST all of it is done!
Hey, clooooose enough! ;)

can y’all stop being so cute? thank you.
We’ll try. No promises ;)

Oh, I love Christmas concerts with the little ones! That’s always fun. Nearly every year I have cousins performing in some program or another and we’ll go see them!
Aww so much fun! I love that my husband’s a teacher now, so we have a reason to go to things like this :)
