I am officially bringing back What I Wore Wednesday! Anybody remember that?? Each Wednesday, I’ll share… what I’m wearing! ;) Mind shattering stuff, I know lol. BUT… I’ve been feeling a pull to the old days of blogging, when I first started this little ole blog of mine. And if you’ve been around for that long (leave a MEEEEE in the comments if you have!!) then you’ll remember the good old WIWW, soooooo she’s baaaack!! Because I want simplicity and not overthinking- and I feel like that’s what we all need, no? I’ve been feeling a little bit stuck in my overthinking-ness, and it’s not good for a myriad of reasons, but mainly it just plain stifles any and all creativity, and creativity is what gives me LIFE, so to that I say: GOOD RIDDANCE. No more overthinking. Because if I sit here and overthink it all and fret over all of the details and if this and that are “perfect” (what even does that mean?! There is no such thing this side of heaven!) thennnn nothing ever happens, and I can’t stay in that spiral. SO. To hell with perfection, let’s just be real! And ourselves! And share what we want to share, the good and the bad and the messy and CERTAINLY the imperfect, mmmkay?? Okay.
Feel free to join in the fun, and please tag me if you do!! Let’s get back to the fun ole days of carefree sharing and little joys, like cute outfits and rambly posts that have nothing to do with anything!
As for this outfit, it’s what I wore to a baseball game with the family! The A’s are now in our hometown for a few years, which is super cool that we have an MLB team to go see at our little AAA stadium, so obviously I had to wear some green to rep the home team! I was very very pleased to have the perfect shoes to match as well- my favorite ones, at that. They make me feel FUN and they make me smile, and we all need more things that make us smile in this world. :) I’m loving these white sneakers too! Honestly, the perfect combo for a baseball game outfit is the team colors in your tee, some matching fun sneakers, denim is always a good idea, or a cute flirty skort like what I have on, and then of course a baseball hat is never a bad idea! Sophie stole mine, otherwise I would have worn one, too. ;) Not gonna lie, she looked cuter in it, so I wasn’t mad about it!
ANYWAY. Moral of my story: Wear what makes you smile! Do more of what makes your soul light up! And stop overthinking every gosh darn thing, because I guarantee nobody else cares half as much as you do about all of the silly little things that just simply do. not. matter.
/End rant.

Meeee! I love this. I come to your site once or twice a week and am always excited when I see you posted. I follow a handful of blogs, and have been for about 15+ years ( I am particular) and yours is one of them. When I need a little break at work, I will click on all 6 of your blogs and see what your up to. I started one probably 17 years ago but never kept up with it. I felt no one would want to hear what I have to say. But I love to see that you all kept it going and I appreciate that you share your fashion, family, food, and faith. I should make a t-shirt with that on it. :)
We all need happiness in our lives, little or big. We can choose to make our own happiness. Like wearing our favorite pair of shoes or going to a ball game with family. :)
Awww wow that means so much to me!!! Thank you for being here all this time, it seriously means a lot and I’m so grateful!! Haha you should totally make a t-shirt with that one it, I would rock it! ;)
