So I took to the Instagram, asking all my mama friends something I thought would be a fun topic: what they miss about being pregnant. And if you are currently pregnant, this is a nice thing to read to remind yourself if maybe you’re not feeling great or are super uncomfortable, to try to focus on these beautiful things that you will surely miss one day! ;)
And if you were quoted in the article, thank you so much for your help! I love that I have a community of moms I can go to who always have the best responses!
“Me time. It’s few and far between now that my baby is my number one priority!” –Katie R.
“Eating whatever I wanted, and blaming it on ‘cravings.'” –Claire D.
“I miss the automatic personal space. Everyone backs up to make room for the pregnant mama”. – Bri T.
“Being able to eat a big meal and not feeling like I have to suck it in afterward.” – Mel B.
“The anticipation of knowing if I had a boy bump or a girl bump!” -Rachael
“I miss the feeling of knowing the very thing I created and love more than life itself is moving and growing inside of me- it’s the best feeling ever!” –Mel C.
“Mostly I miss the sweet movements of my girls inside. Nothing more miraculous.” – Melanie B.
“When I had a rough day I felt like he just knew and would wiggle around as if he was reassuring me it’s okay.” –Ash H.
And now it’s your turn! I want to hear in the comments below, what do you miss most about being pregnant?

The kicks and movement, definitely! Also I miss feeling so confident and beautiful; I know lots of women feel sick, fat, etc, but I was so lucky by having great skin and hair and feeling awesome.
Katie
YES, the hair!!! That was one of the best parts! ;) I love what you said, too. Confident and beautiful- what every woman should feel like while pregnant! <3

Love this post! What a great idea. I miss feeling my little man moving and becoming stronger in my belly. Some of my absolute best memories of pregnancy were listening to his little heartbeat during my doctor visits AND holding my bump while feeling him move around during worship at our church services. It was such a surreal feeling to stand there and praise our Lord for the miracle that was unfolding inside while being surrounded by so many other voices all praising Him too. Oh, and donuts. I miss the ridiculous amount of donuts I ate for the sake of baby cravings;)
Katie
YES, love love love that so much!!! Those little kicks between just you and him- ahhh so priceless. <3 And YES TO DONUTS. Heck yes.

I’m currently pregnant with baby #2, and re-discovering everything about pregnancy has been fun and overwhelming at times haha. My daughter is 2 1/2 now and so unlike the first time around, I no longer get to nap like crazy during this second pregnancy….so i miss that!! haha….I can’t wait for my daughter’s nap time so that me and baby brother BUMP can nap TOO!!!
Katie
Oh, I can imagine just how crazy it will be the second time around! Like, you kiiiind of know everything that’s coming, but still some things might be completely new! And, oh, naps!! That is definitely a major difference between first and second, huh! haha I hope you get that nap in soon!
