NORDSTROM ANNIVERSARY SALE 2018: DRESSING ROOM DIARIES

Phew! That was a longggg day! The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale started yesterday (see all of my top picks HERE!) and we headed in store first thing in the morning to try on ALL OF THE THINGS! I’m not kidding. We spent like 6 hours in the dressing room. And slept for like 5 hours the night before. Not complaining, just saying. I’m a bit of a zombie at the moment. BUT. A happy, well-dressed zombie! ;) And so grateful for ALL OF YOU for supporting us and being awesome, and grateful that I get to work alongside my best friend, who just so happens to know women’s fashion much better than any other straight man I know. ;)

So today I am sharing everything I tried on, along with sizing and fit info! Every one of these outfits is HEAD-TO-TOE on sale! As always, feel free to leave a comment with any questions!

TEE (fits slouchy, I’m in my normal small) | JEANS (fit so well! If in between, go down. I got my regular 2) | BOOTS (size up 1/2)

TOP (fits slouchy, I’m in my normal small) | NECKLACE | JEANS (true to size, with the perfect amount of stretch) | BOOTS (size up 1/2)

TEE (true to size, I’m in a small- this hunter green color is so much prettier in person and in my photo than on the site!) | JEANS (true to size) | UGGS (size up 1/2)

LONG SLEEVE TEE (true to size, I’m in a small- comes in a ton of colors, and under $20!) | JEANS (true to size)

TEE (true to size, I’m in small- the perfect basic tee and comes in a ton of colors! Only $11!) | JEANS (true to size, I love the chewed hem of these! And such a good price!) | FLATS (size up 1/2)

THERMAL TOP (size up! I got a medium) | SKIRT (I sized up to a 28, since it’s so stretchy, having a bit more room is flattering so it’s not too skin-tight!) | FLATS (size up 1/2)

BUTTON DOWN TOP (size up, I’m in a medium- would be perfect for nursing mamas, too!) | JEANS | MULES (size up 1/2)

BACKPACK | TOP (one of my favorites of the sale! True to size, I’m in a small) | JEANS (size up, I’m normally a 27 and got a 28- one of my favorite jeans of the sale!) | MULES (size up 1/2, lots of cute colors!)

PLAID TOP (size up for slouchy fit, I’m in medium) | JEANS (true to size) | FLATS

TEE (true to size, I’m in small, comes in a ton of colors!) | JEANS (true to size) | FLATS (size up 1/2)

    i am in search of comfy, soft, not tight, not too skinny jeans that are NOT high rise. i hate high rise and everything is high rise right now. did you happen across any like this? basically i like the waist hanging on my hips :-) i have already ordered a crap ton (the 10 points did me in), but i can never ever find jeans i like so would appreciate any tips. those kut from the cloth don’t look too high?? thanks!

    Are those Blanknyc jeans in your 2nd pic correctly linked? They just look so different from the color to the minimal distressing. I love the ones you have on!
