One of my favorite outfit combinations is pairing feminine with something more edgy and unexpected. This is why I have been loving pairing a dress or skirt, and a sweater or sweatshirt, with my favorite adidas sneakers!! Easy peasy to throw on and go, but you still feel and look put together and ready for the day! No room for frumpiness here. ;) My favorite adidas sneakers are the gazelle– I own them in two colors and am eying this pretty blush pink as well. What can I say, when you find something you love, you stick with it!
Some more adidas finds, I am LOVING fleece for the cooler temps! There’s just something so cozy about it! Gotta stay warm and comfy while also looking cute and put together! Especially as our temps are rapidly dropping, and all I want to do is stay in cozy pajamas all day to be warm, throwing on a fleece sweatshirt with my outfit is the best way to bring warmth and coziness while still looking cute!
Another possibility is of course to embrace the cozy and athleisure look, and go all in, with sweatpants, a sweatshirt, sneakers, and then accessorize with pretty feminine touches to elevate the look and make it all more put together. It feels like cheating, but trust me, we’re going for “model off-duty” here, and it works. OH, so well. Once again, we’ve got my favorite gazelle sneakers as a base, and work around them. The blue color is SO FUN and a lovely way to add a pop of color and joy into a dreary day. Paired with the essentials fleece loose joggers and oversized crew sweatshirt, and then of course another pop of color with your jacket and hat. Then obviously ACCESSORIZE with alll of the gold jewelry. I don’t know about you, but if I just put on my jewelry, it instantly brings any outfit up a notch and makes me feel like, okay, NOW I am put together. Literally, no matter what outfit I’m wearing, just gotta get the jewelry on and then all is right with the world and I am ready to take on the day!
