Well, it’s that time of year again: time to send holiday cards to your loved ones! Two years ago (the first year of our marriage) I was so excited that I finally got to create and send our very own Christmas cards to everyone. It’s like a rite of passage. It is seriously one of my favourite parts of the season! And one of my favourite companies to order my cards from is Minted. They have the prettiest selection of cards to choose from that you can tweak to your liking! I am a huge proponent of sending personalized cards, because it adds such a great touch and shows that a lot of love and thought went into them. This year, I’m ordering our Christmas cards through Minted, and I’ve put together a few of my favourites that I’m debating between.

I think the JOY! card fits you well especially for this year. In alot of your posts you always say I choose to be happy or I choose happiness. It has been a tough year for you and I know this Christmas will be particularly hard and you will have to choose JOY! So that is my first choice for you. I also love the last card. So that would be my 2nd choice for you. The 2nd card is my 3rd choice. But I also know you love the 3rd one. I love them all so they would all be a good choice. My daughter and I were discussing Noel this morning on the way to school. And then she started singing it to me :)
I was thinking the same thing when I saw the JOY! card! :) Choosing joy has pretty much been my motto all year long! So sweet that your daughter sang to you. What a precious little moment! <3

These cards are so cute! I can’t wait to be able to personalize my own card one day. For now, my parents, my sister, and I send out holiday letters to our friends and family updating them on our lives. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the last card! :)

Okay, first I will say that I love all of these cards but if I had to choose one I’d say #2. But for next year when you have your little one I think you should go with #4.
My cousin just sent me a card where her baby is playing in a tangled mess of white Xmas lights and it says “all you need is love” and I love that card with my whole heart. You should do the Xmas lights idea next year, it’s adorable
Eeek crazy to think that next year we’ll have a little one in the picture with us!!! :) And omg LOVE that christmas lights idea! So sweet. I’ve seen pictures like that and thought “YES.” I am definitely storing that idea away for next year! ;)

I love all of these! I honestly can’t even pick a favorite but I thiiiink 1,3, & 4?? I really do like them all! I got married earlier this year so i felt like we *had* to send out Christmas cards but I didn’t plan in time and I got way too overwhelmed that I think we’ll skip cards this year but I will definitely be ready next year ;)
Aww yeah, the card sitch should never make you go crazy/super stressed!!! That’s not the intent! Good call on just skipping if that’s the case! You’ve got enough on your plate just sending out thank you cards! That was such a crazy time, even after the wedding is over, the busy-ness still doesn’t subside quite yet! ;)

I am SERIOUSLY obsessed with the foil pressed cards. Sadly our three attempts at getting family photos done fell through, so I think we’re going to have to skip it this year :'(

I really love the last card and the “Joy” card, but it will depend on the picture you use and how they work in the cards. I thought I had our card picked out, but once I added the picture I changed my mind. Good luck!
YES, you are right about that! It really all depends on whether the picture I like ends up being horizontal or vertical and also where the wording will hit on the picture, etc. Definitely waiting until I have the picture before setting my heart on any particular one! :)

the first is my favorite. it has a simple charm that i just love. the fourth is s close second. the font is so fun and joyous. :) my goals is to get my christmas cards written out and in the mail this weekend! fingers crossed!
