Comfort

With all of the injustice, heartache and tragedy in this world, it is so easy to turn to God and ask “Why?” But the constant “Why’s” can drive you insane! You get stuck in this endless circle of confusion and sadness and wanting to know the answer to a question that simply cannot be answered! The “Why” is not important, and it isn’t for us to know. Instead, we must ask God “WHAT?” WHAT do You want me to learn from this? WHAT can I do to turn this into a positive in my life? WHAT do You want me to do with this, dear God?

Zack and I went to a new church today with some new (dear) friends, and the message really spoke to me. I just wanted to write that down so I don’t forget it. Tuck it inside my heart, and remember to turn to it in those times of not-so-happiness, because let’s face it, those times happen a lot. But it’s because God is making us stronger, and He’s reminding us of the importance of our relationship with Him! And that makes me smile.

2 Corinthians 3- “He comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God.” Love. :)

Anywhos, I’ll leave you with a little picture of my pretty new headband! It came in the mail (the one from the Etsy shop “the trendy owl” I spoke about in my “Made with Love” post) and I am in love. So much so, I may have to order more! I can’t tell you how many compliments I’ve gotten!!
