It’s Spriiiiiing, officially! So, that’s exciting. And I’ve been thinking a lot lately, about how great Spring really is, you know? It’s just a big ole’ metaphorical time of the year where everybody feels refreshed and gets this great feeling of HOPE and new beginnings. Isn’t that a beautiful thing?

I’ve decided, in all of my Spring-thinking (not to be confused with Spring cleaning, which I have barely started oops), that one thing is very important to me in life: to choose happiness. Because, really, we can choose to wallow in misery, we can choose to be sad about our circumstances, we can choose to compare our lives to others’, but what good does any of that do? Guess what, folks, we’ve got one life, so why not make the most of whatever situation we’re in? Why not embrace life for all that it is? Why not wake up every morning with a song in our hearts? That’s what I’m choosing to do this Spring (and for the rest of forever) and that is to choose happiness and to live each day like it’s my last. So. Happiest of Springs to you, my darlings, and may it be full of new beginnings.

Your moms quote is so true; I think many of us (including myself) sometimes wallow in a situation that is occurring in life, when really, you just have to move past it and continue to live your life!
