Checkered Top and Maxi

hat: forever 21
top: forever 21
skirt: target (similar here and here)
shoes: target (here)
nail polish: essie "haute as hello" (here)

Whenever I'm feeling not too great, I put a hat on, and it seems to help. Also, when I'm feeling not too great, I don't really have many words to say. My mom was the number 1 fan of this little blog of mine, and always read every post and would call me to tell me how much she liked what I said, or how many more people are following me, or how I had a typo and should fix it (my personal favourite), and was always so excited for me. She would want me to keep posting and keep smiling and keep going. So, this is me, trying to do just that. Bear with me, friends. There aren't many words that are coming to my mind right now, but I think pictures are enough. For now.

  12. This is the case for me, too, and I've also started wearing cute little head/hair wraps and a messy high bun. Last week I broke out one of my fedoras, placed it on my head, and was so happy that I didn't have to worry about my hair!!

  29. I have stopped by your blog a few times from WIWW but this time I had to go back a few post's to make sure I was understanding correctly. I am so sad to hear about your mom, it truely breaks my heart that she was so young. I love how your hubby noted though that she did live her life to the fullest the last 12 years.
    Take care *big hug*
