today is a post of numbered points, because it's just that kind of day!

1. do yourself a fave, and listen to mat kearney.  seriously.  mat kearney pandora.  it's all i've been listening to lately. it's perfect music to work to.  it's inspiring.  and his voice!  like butta'.  check it.

2.  i had a dream last night that zack and i bought a baby off of craigslist.  yeah, let that sink in for a second.  and, what's more is that we thought the baby was a boy but then found out it was actually a girl, and she already had a name, and we couldn't change the name.  because, you know, newborns tooootally already know their names?  i don't know.  it was a strange one.  i mean, the strangest part was that we bought a baby from craigslist.  so, i guess that means baby fever is fairly high if it's seeped into my dreams now, right? oh, and the name was jessica, in case you were wondering.

3.  i tried on a few of my fall clothes the other night.  you know, impromptu dress-up sesh.  it happens.  and it really helped with my whole in-denial-about-fall-coming state of mind i was in.  now?  i am soooo ready to be wearing that exact outfit and others like it.  the boots!  the leggings!  the scarves!  i'm ready, okay?  i am ready!  are you?

    1. omg you met him?! amazing! he is SO GOOD! these are my AA winter leggings. they're SUPER thick and sturdy and 100% opaque. They're borderline pants, really, only they're still leggings, so i guess some people are against that. you know, the whole wearing-leggings-as-pants thing.

  28. Love the outfit so much! Where is the white top underneath the button down from? I like the length and sometimes find it hard to find undershirts that cover the "fatty" part of my legs :-)

    Love the boots even more. You said they are in the Cognac color? Are they more carmel-y brown or a lighter tan? I can't quite tell from some of the pics on various websites (compare Amazon to Zappos, what a difference!). Also, how is the fit for you - true to size or big/small?

    Thanks for the advice! Always like to get a little feedback before ordering online :)

    1. thank you, leigh!!! the boots are definitely lighter than they look in this picture. they're more of a lighter tan, almost caramel color in real life. they are GORGEOUS. as for fit, they are definitely true to size. since they're leather, they will stretch a little bit, which only makes them even more comfortable. seriously, they are my favorite boots i've ever owned, and i highly recommend!!! i hope you look back here, since you didn't leave an email for me to reach you at!

They're really nice and stretchy, and seriously SO comfortable. I could live in these leggings! As for the layering top, it's just a tank top I got at some random teen girl's clothing store! It was only $5!! :)
